The most memorable gift you've ever received?
An artwork by Gregory Halpern of the ocean that my partner gave me on my first birthday after my father died. He wrote a poem to accompany it. My father loved the sea, and now I look at it every day.
What are your favorites from our Holiday Gift Shop?
The Gota maxi earrings from Sisi Joia, Big Kiss, Bye-Bye from Athenaeum Bookstore, ALZ, a tropical bomb white from Wijnwinkel (in-store exclusive), Klangnapha’s new black cups, and REYÈM’s holiday special incense.

What's your go-to way to make an outfit feel a little more festive?
Accessories are the quickest route to looking like you made an effort, even when you haven't.
Who's your favorite person to shop for during the holidays?
My partner. He needs nothing, owns everything, and I happen to love a challenge.
Is there a scent, sound, or feeling that instantly makes it feel like the holidays for you?
The particular chaos of too many people in a warm room, coats piled somewhere they shouldn't be, voices competing, someone always in the kitchen. That specific density of family.
What would your dream winter getaway look like?
Mexico City when it's freezing everywhere else. Visiting galleries, design studios and eating at every possible opportunity.
What's a core holiday memory that's always stayed with you?
Sinterklaas at my family's home in Friesland. My father was one of nine, so you can imagine the scene—children everywhere, wrapping paper as far as the eye could see, absolute pandemonium. As a child you just absorb the mayhem. As an adult, you realize it was actually about forty people choosing to show up for each other, year after year.
What are your favorite REYÈM pieces for the holidays?
The Twisted midi skirt in Cream, Asymmetric midi dress in Black and Halter top in Black.
